- Insert Section Break:
- Place the cursor at the end of the cover page【

- Click on "Breaks," and select "Next Page" from the Section Breaks options

- Set Page Number Format:
- Click on the "Insert" tab
- In the "Header & Footer" group, click the "Page Number" button
- Choose the placement of the page number, such as centered at the bottom of the page
- Set Page Number Starting Point:
- Double-click the footer in the main text to enter footer editing mode
- In the "Header & Footer" tab of the Insert tab, uncheck "Link to Previous" and "Different First Page"
- Set Starting Page Number:
- In the "Header & Footer" tab, click "Page Number," and select "Format Page Numbers"
- Choose "Start at," and enter "1"
- Delete Page Number on Cover:
- Manually delete the page number on the cover
